HoosierGazette.com endorses David Ford for Lieutenant Governor

        By Wilt Massie, THG Features

Despite having very different opinions on important state issues like Indiana University basketball, I-69, and the ugliness of the new license plates, all members of the staff at HoosierGazette.com can agree on one thing: Republican David Ford should be our next Lieutenant Governor.

There are several reasons to vote for Mr. Ford as our next Lt. Governor, reasons that I won’t list in this article. You can see for yourself at his campaign web site, www.davidford2004.com/bio.htm. As you will see, he has an extensive history of serving Indiana in a variety of capacities for over two decades. His experience makes him more than qualified for the job.

Even if you don’t know anything about David Ford or care at all about the office of Lt. Governor, the main reason to vote for David Ford come November is this: he is a Republican. And do you know what Republicans generally want? Lower taxes! That means more take home pay at the end of the week. To me, that is the most important issue of the day.

Why anyone would vote otherwise if beyond me. This is a capitalist country and money talks. Why vote for a party that wants to take your hard earned dollars away from you and use them for government programs that are usually unsuccessful?

Since the Democratic Party stopped being the party of working people and started being the party for radical liberal interests like affirmative action and gay marriage, we at HoosierGazette.com have voted straight Republican in the last few elections. This is what we encourage all Hoosiers to do. Who knows, you might have a little more pocket change at the end of the week.

Vote for David Ford this fall for Lieutenant Governor. You won’t be disappointed, unless of course you are looking for a handout from the state.
