Distrustful wives use monitoring devices to keep
husbands from straying

Tired of
constantly worrying about what their husband is doing when they are away from
home, many Hoosier wives have taken drastic measures to ensure that their
husband doesn’t stray when they are away.
Using the
same technology that local departments of correction use with prisoners on house
arrest, women are able to know their husbands exact whereabouts by using a
transmitter worn on the ankle of their
hubbies and a receiver which is placed in their home and plugged into the
electrical and telephone outlets.
The transmitter communicates with the
receiver, which has a pre-set range in which the husband must stay during the
times they are to be at home. All transmitters are tamper proof and water
resistant--some have "dual" tamper detection, meaning it not only measures strap
tampers, but also whether or not there is "mass" within the strap.
The receiver communicates, via the home
telephone line, to a computer in the monitoring center; monitoring all leaves,
fail to returns, tampers, and power or phone problems as they occur.
The use of
this technology has given many jealous wives peace of mind.
A perfect
example is Evansville’s
Russ and Mindy Word. Russ, a football star in high school and college, has
always been the target of attention from ladies who want to spend time with
“Russell the Love Muscle”. Worried that Russ might give in to temptation, his
wife Mindy purchased home monitoring equipment to make sure her husband was
where he belonged. “I don’t think Russ would ever cheat, but it is better to be
safe than sorry. I feel better knowing where he is 24 hours a day.”
Added Russ:
“I can’t even go down the street to Zesto and get a cheeseburger without the
damn thing going off.”
As husband
monitoring equipment becomes more popular, more and more companies are selling
their wares online. To see what the industry leader has to offer, visit
