Bremen man selling virginity to the highest bidder

            By Oscar Gooding, THG News

After reading the story of a British university student who sold her virginity to the highest bidder, Bremen’s Merle Montgomery figured maybe he could make a few bucks doing the same.

Last week Bristol University student Rosie Reid disclosed that she was paid the equivalent of $15,000 in British pounds in February to sleep with a 44-year-old engineer from South London.  Reid, a lesbian, said she sold her virginity to the highest bidder to help pay for her university fees.

Montgomery, a 36-year-old farmer, decided to sell his virginity on the Internet, using the world’s largest online marketplace, Ebay.

“I figure why not sell it?” said Montgomery in a Saturday afternoon interview, “I have been wanting a new four-wheeler, and if this will pay for it then I will be willing to give it up.”

Montgomery has his sights set on a brand new 2004 Honda FourTrax Rincon, the largest, most powerful ATV in Honda’s utility series.  Honda’s suggested retail price for the Rincon is $7599.00, the price Montgomery has set as the minimum bid for any lady wanting to finally make him into a man.

So far, Montgomery has received only four bids for his services, with the highest bid being from a 61-year-old widow from South Bend who has offered him $1200.  “It is going to take a lot more than that for me to burn up a nasty old lady.  That would barely buy a snow plow for the Rincon,” said Montgomery.

The bidding for Montgomery’s virginity is not open to men.  “I ain’t like that!” exclaimed Montgomery.  When asked if he would ever consider changing his mind and opening the backdoor for men to bid on his services, Montgomery added, “Maybe for a million dollars, but I still doubt it.  How could I look myself in the face after that?”

Bidding on Ebay will close April 2.
